Black History Month Program: Impact of Economics on the Black Community - A Zoom Presentation

 The Black History Program hosted by NJPACCI was a powerful Zoom presentation celebrating Black history, culture, and heritage. The event opened with a welcome from PACCI President Arnold Hurtault and an opening prayer by Pastor Guy Florival. A moving performance of the "Negro National Anthem" by Laranah Phipps followed, and former Mayor Myra Campbell discussed the impact of economics. Historic reflections included stories about Rosewood, Black Wall Street, and the Asbury Park Uprising. Tributes were made to influential Black individuals, including Rev. Largie, Attorney Wayne Autry, Pastor Guy Florival, Kenneth Morgan, Alma Battle, Dina Parker Todd, Lorraine Stone, and Maxzine Daniels. A panel discussion on "New York Divided" offered insights on today's challenges. The event ended with a legislative call to action and a heartfelt performance by Amethyst Blue. The program was a testament to Black history's lasting impact on society. 

TAX TIME TACTICS: SMART BUSINESS STRATEGIES FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

 This informative session held via Zoom on February 10, 2025 covered essential tax strategies for business owners, including business structures, record keeping, and maximizing tax deductions. Paul McCloud M.B.A., E.A. provided guidance on IRS interactions, estate planning, and specific tax scenarios such as home office deductions and gifting money to children. The webinar concludes with a Q&A session, where participants get answers to key tax-related questions, including state tax filing, partnership payments, and gift tax exemptions.
